  1. 1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to your registration for GOMECON 12, organised by the GOMECON 12 Organising Committee, Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa, India. By creating an account or registering, you agree to them.

  2. 2. Your account

You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done through your account. One account is for one person.

  3. 3. Registration and eligibility

Delegate passes are for students, interns and postgraduates in medicine and allied fields. We may ask for proof of enrolment at the venue, and may refuse entry if the details on your registration cannot be verified.

Your registration is confirmed only once payment succeeds. Your gate pass is personal and may not be transferred or shared.

  4. 4. Workshops and events

Seats are limited and allocated first come, first served, within the per-day limits shown on the site. A seat in a paid workshop is held only once it is paid for.

We may change times, venues, speakers or facilitators, or merge or cancel a session if circumstances require. We will tell you of significant changes using the contact details on your account.

  5. 5. Fees and payment

All fees are in Indian Rupees and are shown at checkout. Early-bird prices apply only up to the date stated on the site. Payments are processed by our payment provider, whose terms also apply.

  6. 6. Cancellations and refunds

Registration and workshop fees are non-refundable once paid, except where we cancel the conference or a paid session, in which case the fee for what was cancelled will be refunded to the original payment method.

If you believe you were charged in error, write to us within 7 days of the payment and we will look into it.

  7. 7. Conduct at the conference

Delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards fellow delegates, faculty, patients, volunteers and staff, and to follow campus rules and any instructions from the organisers. We may remove anyone who does not, without refund.

  8. 8. Photography

The conference will be photographed and filmed. By attending, you agree that images in which you appear may be used in GOMECON reports, the website and social media. Let a volunteer know at the venue if you would rather not be photographed.

  9. 9. Website content

Text, images and design on this site belong to the Organising Committee or its contributors and may not be reused without permission. We try to keep the information here accurate, but the schedule and details may change before the conference.

  10. 10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the Organising Committee is not liable for indirect losses, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings at the venue. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us. Travel and accommodation are your own arrangements.

  11. 11. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

  12. 12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Goa have jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed.
